Dallas-based chicken wing chain Wingstop will offer an informational session on February 25 at the Hamilton Crowne Plaza hotel in Washington D.C. The event is designed to facilitate Wingstop’s expansion efforts throughout the area.

The event, known as “Tour & Taste,” will give prospective franchisees the opportunity to meet and interact with Wingstop executives and sample the company’s wings. According to Bruce Evans, vice president of franchise development, the chain plans to open 75 locations throughout the Northeast in the coming years, with “at least 25 of those restaurants in the D.C. area.”

Founded in 1994, Wingstop has been franchising since 1997. The company currently has more than 440 locations throughout the United States and Mexico.
